Road cycling

The local terrain is perfect for road bikes; the many professionals and amateurs who flock to the Riviera in the winter months and springtime know this, and count on pedalling in a mild climate difficult to find anywhere else. And the trails are every bit as good. In addition to classic pedalling on the local Aurelia road, numerous short and long ascents start just behind the coast, ideal for your training legs, pushing yourself to the top and overcoming differences in level (over 1,000 metres, starting directly at the seaside).

These routes are very common and are often selected for prestigious races such as the classic opening race “Laigueglia Trophy” and “Milano Sanremo”.
